Have you met Katie? She’s our newest yoga instructor and she teaches a broad range of classes. Right now, she is teaching in the evenings and even has a class for youth! The wonderful thing about yoga is that everyone has their own styles, so it’s a great idea to try them all. In order to get to know Katie a little better, we decided to do an interview for you. Enjoy!

Our society loves babies. When a woman is pregnant, people constantly fuss over mom and baby to make sure they have what they need. But, as soon as that baby is born, Mom is expected to return to life like she didn’t just spend nine months growing an entire human being inside of her. To add to that, baby is supposed to be happy, sleep through the night, and eat without issues. At Vessel, we realize that there is so much more that happens after birth to mom and baby. That’s why we have created a program that specializes in both postnatal recovery for mom and baby yoga and massage for baby.

Each of our classes offer something special for our members. Our class spotlight posts will give you all a chance to learn more about our instructors, what each class entails, and how you can benefit from making it part of your routine! This month’s focus is the Tuesday morning Power Yoga Flow class taught by Rosary.

This month’s member spotlight is all about Anika Foreman. She has been with Vessel since pretty much the beginning and you can find her at the studio almost every day that we are open! She is so dedicated and a pure joy to have around. Let’s take a couple minutes to learn a little more about her!

Yoga heart openers can benefit you emotionally and physically by increasing confidence and strengthening posture muscles.
