Rebound & Align is the class you don’t know you’re missing! Even if you’re really good about balancing your workouts by including strength training, stretching and high/low impact activities, you are probably not including something like this.
The Rebound & Align class at Vessel includes foam rolling and fascial release as well as rebounding to double up on the benefits for recovery. It may not seem like a typical “workout”, but it actually allows your body to make the most of your other workouts so that you’re optimizing all the work you’re doing.
Rebound & Align is the perfect class to incorporate into any routine to help bring more mobilization, balance, full body muscle toning, and overall better health and wellness. You will align your fascia and intrinsic muscles, detoxify your body, burn fat, and improve your coordination that’ll leave you feeling more mobile and aligned.
When you hear “foam roll,” you typically think “ouch!” That’s because most people use a high density foam roller that can be more abrasive on your connective tissue. Yes, sometimes that is necessary when you have tightness and muscle soreness in specific areas, but for an overall healthy fascial and musculature system, we love to use a medium density roller and various release balls to create more mobility in your body.
As we age, our fascial system becomes brittle and congested. By releasing our connective tissue using a foam roller or release ball, we bring hydration back into the tissue. “I like to give the example in class that our connective tissue is like a sponge. When it’s dry, there is no mobility or flexibility to the sponge. But when you wet the sponge, it changes form easily and has more mobility. This is our fascial system!” Says Jessica.

Besides being a fun way to incorporate more cardio into your routine, rebounding has some amazing benefits you might be surprised about. NASA has done some research on the cardiovascular advantages of rebounding versus other cardio methods, such as running, and found that rebounding is 68% more cardiovascular & fat burning than traditional running. They calculated that just 10 minutes on the rebounder is comparable to running 33 minutes. That’s a win-win if you need more cardio but just don’t have as much time to hit the pavement.
“One of my favorite benefits of rebounding is the way it helps my body flush out toxins after releasing my fascial system. This was the whole concept when I first designed this class back in 2019. Plus, it works every muscle in the body and to me that is a bonus!” says Jessica.
Other benefits include:
“Even though I know how important it is to move lactic acid out of the muscles, drain the lymphatic system, etc. it requires the right kind of movement to accomplish that. I don’t get enough of that movement and stretching regularly, and the Rebound and Align class has helped me to consistently help my body move stagnant buildup out of my body. I have more energy throughout the day and clearer thinking after incorporating this into my routine!” – Paige Lewis
“I love the rebound and align class. It is a great way to unwind and literally work out the kinks in the middle of the week.” – Jenny Garnett
Rebound & Align is currently offered Wednesday mornings. Make sure to reserve your spot for next week’s class and give it a shot. We think you’ll love it!
