It’s always such a pleasure to see Huyen at the studio. She has the biggest smile and is probably one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! There is so much to her and once you start a conversation with her, you won’t want it to end!

Tell us a little about yourself. Name, background, family, etc..

Hi! My name is Huyen (pronounced: h-ween) but a lot of my friends also call me Queen. My husband and I moved to Houston, TX about 8 years ago from Ohio. We have a 3 year old daughter name Isla and french bulldog name Edgar. 

What do you like to do in your free time?

During my free time I love to read, practice my calligraphy, watercolor paint, do some hand embroidery, sew and try cooking new recipes. I love anything crafty. 

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? 🙂

My favorite ice cream is from Jeni’s and I always get Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and Brambleberry. 

Do you have an interesting fact you’d like to share?

I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with a degree in Fashion Design. Even though I’m currently living my best life with my dream job as a stay at home mama, I would someday love to have my own kids clothing boutique. 

How long have you been going to Vessel?

I started going in February of 2023. 

How often do you attend classes?

I try to go at least 2-3 times a week. 

What brought you to Vessel Pilates and how did it stand out to you? 

I was searching for a Pilates studio on google search and as soon as I saw pictures of Vessel, I knew this was the perfect place for me. I love the aesthetic of the place. It’s has such a nice, bright, warm and inviting feel to it. I also really appreciated that it was a smaller studio which meant that the classes are more personal. When I started going there, everyone was so nice and super friendly. All the instructors have been incredible. I learn so much in each and every class and I always look forward to going every week! 

If you were to describe our studio to someone who had never heard of it, what would you say?

Vessel Pilates is the perfect place for anyone who needs some good self love and me time. It’s the perfect place to make new friends and get that hot mama bod at the same time!
