Amanda joined our studio earlier this year and it’s been such a pleasure to have her in our classes. She fits in so well and her dedication really shows up every time she comes. We are so excited to introduce her to you all and help you get to know a little more about her!
My husband and I are both from the north (Minnesota and Michigan, respectively) but I love Texas and am happy to call this home. We have a 15-month-old son, William, and 13 year-old daughter, Ashlyn.
I find I don’t have much of that lately, but I love to read, and I love traveling. My husband and I will have been married two years in January, and because of COVID, pregnancy, etc. we’ve never been on a “real” vacation together, so hopefully we’ll be able to do more traveling in the future. We’re also looking forward to doing more hiking now that the weather is cooler.
Rocky Road or Chocolate Peanut Butter.
After growing up in Michigan, I lived in Virginia, Washington DC, Manhattan, and Austin before finding our forever home here.
I was very active before my pregnancy, but hardly worked out at all during it or in the months following. It was a little daunting to be 40-something postpartum and feeling out of shape, but I really wanted to get back into it. I found Vessel online and it stood out to me because of its advertisement for postpartum classes. I came to check it out and loved its friendly vibe! It felt like the right community for me. I also like the variety of classes, including barre, jump, mat Pilates, strength, yoga, etc., as well as the small class size.
Since May of this year.
I would like to attend 4-5 days a week if my work schedule allows it.
Friendly, fun, and uplifting!
