We absolutely love learning about our members. Terez is a regular at the studio and for those who haven’t met her, we hope you’ll have a chance to introduce yourself soon. Here bubbly personality is felt whenever she enters a room!
My name is Terez Matkins. Although I was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, I grew up in northern California, in the Livermore Valley. I’ve been married 45 years in December. We have four children and six grandchildren. My husband retired in February of 2020 and we moved here in April, at the beginning of the COVID pandemic.
I love spending as much time as possible with my grandkids and adult kids most of all. I also love gardening, horseback riding, hiking, studying the Bible with friends, reading, working with children, Pilates, yoga, traveling, drinking great coffee, wine tasting, and learning new things.
Mint chocolate chip, of course!
I used to be a massage therapist, a job I really loved.
My daughter, Heather, brought me to Vessel. I found the whole environment very much like the yoga studio where I practiced back home. It was so calming and positive, so personal and friendly. I tried another place, but it was more gym-like in its environment. There is nothing like Vessel.
Two years.
My goal is at least three classes a week when I’m in town.
Vessel welcomes you from the moment you step through the door. The staff encourages each person to succeed and learn at her own pace. Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. There is a class for everyone, whether a beginner looking to start a healthy routine or someone seeking more of a challenge. At Vessel, you can become a better you!
This is our beloved daughter who is a great blessing to us. E are so proud and thankful for her.
